Installation

Installing for Claude Desktop

Option 1: One-Command Installation

npx mcpbar@latest install juhemcp/jexchange-mcp-server -c claude

This command will automatically install and configure the Juhe Exchange Rates MCP server for your selected client.

Option 2: Manual Configuration

Run the command below to open your configuration file:

Install

This server requires Python 3.10 or higher. Install dependencies using uv (recommended) or pip

When using uv no specific installation is needed. We will use uvx to directly run jexchange-mcp-server.

uvx jexchange-mcp-server

Using PIP

Alternatively you can install jexchange-mcp-server via pip:

pip install jexchange-mcp-server

After installation, you can run it as a script using:

python -m jexchange_mcp_server

Debugging

You can use the MCP inspector to debug the server. For uvx installations:
