Installation
Installing for Claude Desktop
Option 1: One-Command Installation
npx mcpbar@latest install railsware/mailtrap-mcp -c claude
This command will automatically install and configure the Mailtrap Server MCP server for your selected client.
Option 2: Manual Configuration
Run the command below to open your configuration file:
npx mcpbar@latest edit -c claude

Usage
Once configured, you can ask agent to send emails, for example:
- "Send an email to [email protected] with the subject 'Meeting Tomorrow' and a friendly reminder about our upcoming meeting."
- "Email [email protected] about the project update, and CC the team at [email protected]"
Available Tools

Sends a transactional email through Mailtrap.
Parameters:

(required): Email address of the recipientsubject

(optional): Email address of the sender, if not provided "DEFAULT_FROM_EMAIL" will be usedtext
